Three units of limerick city fire service attended a road traffic accident at Castleconnel co limerick today at 11.55 am. Five male occupants were rescued from the vehicle which left the road and came to rest in a field. The men had to be cut from the wreckage and hoisted by a fire service crane from the field to the roadside.casualties were treated at the scene by ambulance staff and transported to limerick regional hospital. Gardai are investigating the cause of the crash
