Angry Bird 'Royal Duty?'

Nostradamus predicted the downfall of the British Monarch this century. Every time I open a newspaper, I can see why.
As more and more people lose their jobs, fail to acquire government assistance and feel the financial strain heaving down on them, it sickens me that every time I open a newspaper it has some ridiculous feature on what Kate Middleton has decided to wear or what party Harry has gotten drunk at or what uber luxurious destination William will be taking R&R at before he recommences his 'work with the R.A.F'. All of these seem to be taking place under what seems to be a guise of 'Royal Duty' .
Between constant pictures of Harry smoking and bleary eyed in America with yet another generic blonde and a lot of shaking hands and prestigious party attendances by 'Wills and Kate' it seems that the Royals are doing nothing to play down the millions of pounds of taxpayers money being spent on their 'duties'. If I was an English Citizen, waking up every morning to another weighty bill dropping through the letter box I would, personally, feel outraged at having to watch a bunch of twenty something's ( I know Kate is 30 now) jetting across the world on behalf of 'we' the British people.
If they were pictured, sweating it out, digging holes and churning cement as they helped build houses in Africa, if they were shunning lavish parties to stay up late at night brainstorming on how to fundraise for the 'Commoners' then their role would seem more purposeful. They could be persons of admiration and pride. To say that they are merely figure heads and such things ( in other real work) is not part of their job description is simply ludicrous.
Last year Fergie, not the singer, was exposed for trying to illicit money from a business man (undercover journalist) in exchange for an introduction with Prince Andrew. And as for Andrew, whose questionable acquaintances alone should make him a pariah, instead is a kept man who lives the life of luxury without every having proved his worth in earning it. After resigning his role as trade envoy in 2011 his travels and expenses seemed only to increase rather than decrease. He has maintained a close relationships with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein and was even spotted cavorting in public with a 17 year old 'masseuse' and former abuse victim of Epstein. Again in 2011, Prince William hired an all female crew for his Bachelor Party on a cruise ship and something tells me it wasn't due to his enthusiasm for women's lib. In 2001, actress Amanda Barrie revealed she was propositioned by royal aides hiring women to teach a young Prince Charles about sex. Not to mention Prince Philip who asked a young Kenyan dancer " you are a woman, aren't you?" and Camillas reported crude sense of humour adored by Prince Charles.
When I look back at The Osbourne, with Sharon and her foul mouth (Camilla) the raving Ozzy ( Philip), Jack smoking and drinking (Harry) and fame hungry yet talentless Kelly ( Beatrice and Eugene)' it is not hard to see that there is probably little difference behind closed doors
If these Royals are figure heads, should they not be a clear representation of the people in some form or other? Should they not be people who exude the most noble of character? People who inspire it's public to work harder in tough times and show that they too are contributing to the cause? At this moment in time, it appears that all we hear of the Royals is reminiscent of scenes from Sophia Copolla's 'Marie Antoinette' and we all know what happened there... The sheer audacity and blatant overspending and indulgence is beyond comprehension. The fact that the British public put up with it is mind boggling. My only guess is that the head of P.R. in Buckingham Palace is secretly anti royal and everyone in the palace are all too silly to see it or maybe they too, have been living in a bubble and simply see nothing wrong with it from a 'Commoners' point of view.I mean what will they think of next, hijacking an Island in South America?
I am in favour of peace. I am not anti or pro Royal I am anti- 'taking the 'beejoolie'',so to speak. The Royals need to get out there and get their hands dirty with the people or even APPEAR to do so in order for outrage and tension to be averted. If not, it seems Nostradamus will be right after all...
And that will make everyone a very..
